My first commercial Web Development experience came at The Building Centre. Following the internet boom in 1999, there was a requirement to develop the way people accessed their wealth of information and given my interest in Web Development and Design, I was given the opportunity to manage and develop the centre's online services full time including, most significantly, a new searchable and interactive 'Product Directory' called specifinder.com.
Currently in it's third incarnation, specifinder.com has grown from strength to strength and is now consulted by over 40,000 unique building product specifiers each month.
I always remain on top of internet trends and strive to develop my skills in new areas of web-development. In 2009, I completed a BSc (Hons) in Web-based Business Systems from London Metropolitan University, achieving upper second class honours.
My main areas of interest and expertise are:
I am proficient with several web-development software packages, primarily:
Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, MS SQL Server, MS Access, Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks
